I just finished FF16 and going back to Zelda, Destiny2 always has a special place in my heart. For mobile I'm mainly doing Marvel Snap, once a while I work on my vault in Fallout Shelter.

@Gamerdad Oh very cool! I’ve been completely obsessed with #Zelda #TearsOfTheKingdom lately. Such a good game! I don’t have a PS5, but I’ve been watching someone on YouTube play through FF16 and it seems pretty wild too.

@ProfWaffles definitely one of the better FF series, I'd say the last time I got into it this much was FF12

@Gamerdad Oh huh, I had a hard time getting into FF12! Started it up, played maybe 2 hours and it wasn’t really hitting. Then again, the person I’m watching play 16 also really liked 12, so maybe they’re similar in that regard of how they appeal to people!

@Gamerdad Ok now FF9 I can definitely back, loved that game haha. I picked up FF7R on sale last year. Way different from the FF7 I remember! Someday I should give it a shot, though.

I guess I just prefer old school Final Fantasies However 16 has been fun to watch! They really are like movies nowadays!

@ProfWaffles I see what you mean, I've heard some FF fans don't want to play this one cause they think this new slasher action mode isn't what FF is about. I definitely prefer turn based battle mode but as slasher game this one is very fun

@Gamerdad Oh yeah, I hear if you go into it expecting something different from old-school FF, it’s fine. It mixed things up a lot. Kind of like post-BotW Zelda and pre-BotW Zelda. Sometimes games evolve in different directions.

I’m not personally into that style though haha. But at least there’s Dragon Quest, Octopath, Bravely Default, etc just in Square-Enix alone!

If you’re having fun with it, that’s what counts! (And I’m content just watching it)
