Well the game this month is Majora’s Mask!

@GaymerGeek There was also the Collector's Edition GameCube disc running emulated NES and N64 ROMs, but that emulator can freeze. I had one while going through a doorway, and because owl saves were temporary on N64 for NA or PAL countries (the Japanese version didn't even have owl saves, and instead had a 3rd save file), I lost enough progress it encouraged me to play the 3DS version instead. Zelda Dungeon's wiki notes the freeze issue was not fixed with the European release for Wii Virtual Console.

@GaymerGeek There's one more caveat I want to share about Majora's Mask. It's really easy to not find the Inverted Song of Time or the Song of Double Time, since they are optional, but they make the game much better to play. These songs also aren't stored on the menu, where you can practice the inputs, before the 3DS version.
@JTO_is_Typing ah yes I remember these they weren’t that obvious at all but made a really big difference! Thanks for sharing
@GaymerGeek I could mostly get by without the Song of Double Time before the 3DS version, but for that it was made much more useful. It gets rid of a lot of waiting around when you know which hour of the day you want to do something.
