I had barely enough muns but I was able to get God Eater 2 on Steam for <$5, which is actually more like a bundle of GE1R+GE2RB.

Took me a while to realize that it apparently requires single thread affinity to fix loading issues (which was documented on ProtonDB for the bundle), and `d3d9x_43` for it to actually launch and `wmp11` to load its WMV video files (which WASN'T doc'd anywhere).

So uh, yeah, fun. Feel like this is something that should've been automated in Proton-GE already?

That One Average Seong (成)

Speaking of, since Wine-GE is effectively discontinued now and I'm being not-so-subtly pushed towards Proton even for non-Steam, I've been rebuilding my main Bottles prefix using GE9.

But despite the internet telling me how much easier it supposedly is, I've had it not provide Wined3d libraries for DirectDraw titles (like Sugokana2), and neither Time Crisis 5 nor Scarlet Dawn was loading because somehow the prefix had `mfplat` set to native only, causing it to fail to load???

So yeah, had to manually fix in the winecfg window for the first time in a long while.
This was never an issue with normal Wine-GE for me, and tbh the purist in me wishes the former was still maintained.

On the bright side, alongside SHA earlier, I was able to get Gaia Attack 4 working as well--turns out, it just needed WMP11 (with the VCM codec pack added) for it to work smoothly. So I've updated that in the compat list too!

Just leaves three stubborn outliers (out of the games I tested, anyways)...
