#Sting, upon leaving #ThePolice, never released a consistently #good album; each solo effort is sprinkled with some brilliant songwriting and some just *absolutely* pretentious+awful stuff; however, this comes closest in terms of a "good" album start-to-finish.
And if I had a list of Top 100 albums, this would be on it, somewhere between 80 - 90 *probably*
Ten Summoner's Tales (a play on Sting's name: Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner)
the whole album has a "walking down the beach during sunset on a warm day" kind of feeling.
"If I Ever Lose My Faith In You"
"Fields of Gold"
"Seven Days" (one of the best songs he ever wrote)
and "Shape of my Heart"
(featured in the movie The Professional)
and the rest is not overly offensive; unlike some of his other album filler pieces.
these are quintessential #musics for literally anyone who likes music
music video for Sting's "Seven Days"; my personal favorite Sting song, excellent use of strings and the build up of the chorus instantly catchy/memorable
