I’d bet the O&amp;M delta would grow after that, further in favor of electrics. BTW, non-rental <a href="https://mastodon.energy/tags/fleet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fleet</span></a> guidelines mandate retiring all cars at, e.g. 3-4 years, based on gasoline cost optimizations. We’ve protested that the <a href="https://mastodon.energy/tags/EVs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EVs</span></a> still run perfectly with no maintenance, to no avail. So, longer time to replacement is a second cost-reduction opportunity when the pencil-pushers catch up with their actual rolling stock.</p>
