I had the honor of being gifted “: Chaos Gate - “ (quite a mouthful) for Christmas.

So far (a handful of missions in), it's been a very nice /#XCom2-like game. Story, atmosphere, production and music are all great. Given that I'm not familiar with the universe I'm sure to miss a lot of subtleties, though. :D

For now, the skill trees of the soldiers (knights) are still a bit much to take in every level-up. (1/2)

Given my lore ignorance, I also have trouble distinguishing my squad roles. Roles like Sniper & Grenadier are more intuitive to me than Justicar & Purgator. :D

The in-mission interface is also not crystal clear about everything which adds a bit to the confusion.

All in all it's fun and challenging but also requires a lot of concentration for me. I guess this'll result in shorter sessions, so I'll probably play the campaign for quite some time. :)
