Favorite #zelda game? Go!
I'll start: For nostalgia/personal reasons my favorite is probably #windwaker but I think the most impressive and well-made is #botw #breathofthewild
@anth01ogy Majora's mask. It hit me on an emotional level deeper than a Zelda had before. The Theophany remix of the soundtrack did the same
@FreiGuy86 Majora's Mask is my number 2! Both MM and WW really crystallized in me that at the end of the day, what I want from my Zelda game is a space to explore and exist in, not just a series of puzzles to solve
@FreiGuy86 (This is also why #botw really works for me)
@anth01ogy Wind Waker is another of my faves.
@anth01ogy for some weird nuances - for chilling out, ocarina of time randomiser. For Zelda game I enjoy spending time in, Majora. For vibes, links awakening.
@anth01ogy Probably Breath of the Wild for me, just because of how amazing it is to explore the world of Hyrule in said game, and how much effort was put into making it feel like a real place. The sheer amount of details and alt dialogue and stuff is incredible!
@anth01ogy I don't think I can pick one, each console game has its own unique place in my heart. Ocarina as my first, and the one I have replayed the most. Majora for the story and characters. Wind Waker for its vivid, timeless style, like a living cartoon. Twilight Princess for those dark, moody vibes. Skyward Sword because I ship Link+Zelda. BotW for the sheer sense of scale and its bold reimagining of what a Zelda game can be, probably the biggest step it has taken since Ocarina.
@anth01ogy My two favorites are BOTW and Wind Waker. Two very different types of game but I love them both.
I hope Wind Waker eventually comes out on Switch. #Zelda
@void @anth01ogy Wind Waker is one of the greatest games of all time. I'd love to have it accessible on Switch, or even a 3D Zelda collection containing WW, OOT, MM, and TP.
@tacobelmont @anth01ogy I feel like we have a chance of getting it once Tears of the Kingdom releases. I think they don't want to distract from that, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a Switch version of Wind Waker later in the year or the year after.
