hello everyone! hope y’all are having a great day today! here is my #introduction for this instance. i play tons of games from all types of genres, but story driven single player action/adventure games are probably my bread and butter. here’s a list of some of my favorite series

I'm obsessed with horizon forbidden west currently, and I named my firstborn son Link, so maybe we'd get along
I actually could have written that same list, except last of us and batman arkham. I like the story of last of us, but was too afraid of the monsters to get through it (hoping the upcoming show will be good. And yes don't ask me how last of us is too scary, but I somehow got through resident evil village...) and could never get the arkham controls to feel comfortable enough to get into. I think I beat the first one but that was a very long time ago.

ah yeah that is a little surprising but we all have our own limits. especially on fear. i will say the clicking noise they make is really horrifying tho and the fungi kinda unlocks a unique type of fear so i do understand. also yeah i understand that about arkham too. the rhythm based combat system isn’t for everyone lmao

Yeah, something about zombie-by-fungus seems a little more plausible considering we already have that (on a much, much smaller level in insects). And yeah the clicking 
I'm having the same issue with Spiderman : Miles Morales... I haven't given up entirely, but I have not managed to make the rhythm of combat click (er pun not intended) yet. I hope I can get it because I've heard it's very good. But for now I'm happy with horizon fw... Though I just recently started playing genshin impact again 
@toplesstopics ah yeah miles morales gave me a bit of trouble too. the venom blast and invisibility mechanics felt so unnatural to me after playing and replaying spider-man ps4 multiple times. about half way through i got the hang of it tho. ah yeah genshin is so fun!! i only got into it about a month ago but i really enjoy it

I played genshin for a little over a year ago then spontaneously picked it up again Saturday, intending to start fresh but it saved my data between consoles and I would have lost the characters I won in wishes from before so I decided to pick up where I left off had to watch some tutorials to even re-learn the basics.
I just wish I had more time to play video games! There are so many good ones out there, and they come out faster than I can play them (especially since my favorite genre are base builders like Ark and The Forest, which don't really "end"...)
