Favorite movie: #beautyandthebeast
@iambubbaq #ff7remake was really good, but I haven't gotten to play the other releases yet. #kingdomhearts is also really fun, I liked learning the level 1 critical run and speedrun strats. #kingdomhearts2 was my favorite of the series, though the story in #kingdomhearts1 and nostalgia of my first run makes it a close second. Which #residentevil is your favorite? Mine is probably #re2remake, it kickstarted my interest in horror and I've been a huge fan of Resident Evil since then!
@daredevil RE4R has taken my favorite slot. Before that it was probably RE1R. As a RE fan of course I love two but for some reason it’s never really been a big favorite of mine. Though I do love the remake as well.
And nice on the KH level 1 crit runs. I always play in crit but I stopped doing the level 1 runs. Just don’t enjoy them like I used to. Probably due to backlog galore lol same with knife only on RE
@iambubbaq #RE4R being your favorite is hard to disagree with, it's an incredible experience. #RE1R was also incredible and really set a strong precedent for remakes. Jill Valentine is probably my favorite protagonist, though Claire and Ethan are very close as well.
Level 1 can be frustrating at some points, but it's immensely satisfying when the strategies come together for a clean run. I also deeply appreciate the game design decisions that allow for those challenge runs to exist. That said, I wouldn't recommend them to everyone lol. Can't say I've done a #knifeonly run yet, but it sounds pretty fun tbh. I might have to give it a shot some time.
@daredevil Jill is my favorite so I agree there haha
Knife only is really fun and challenging. You really learn the enemy mechanics and is especially interesting in the older fixed camera games.
KH has one of my favorite combat systems for that reason. It’s extremely responsive and it’s all about learning pattern and using your mechanics to the fullest. That series never lets me down
