My first impressions with the #iPhone16e after upgrading from an #iPhoneXR: It's fine. If you're comparing it to the 16 & 16 Pro models, yes, there is a stark difference & you have every right to blast Apple as to why they didn't put MagSafe in the 16e.
For me, all I really cared about was battery life, can it do normal phone things, and new iOS 18 features I will enjoy that I don't have on my iPhone XR.
Yes, I have a MagSafe charger & it wasn't a dealbreaker that 16e didn't have it. I'm the kind that docks my iPhone at the end of the day & undocks it in the morning.
All in all, I'm satisfied that I have a shiny new iPhone that will provide me with years of new iOS updates.
@richygarcia84 I’m happy to hear you’re happy with it! It definitely serves a purpose in the market. :)
@britt The tech reviewers are painting it as though this phone will bankrupt Apple (again). It won't. The phone is expensive for a "budget" iPhone but at the acceptance stage of grief, what isn't expensive in the '20s, eh?
@richygarcia84 it’s unfortunate how so many tech reviewers have become lemmings. I rarely take their considerations into account when I need to make decisions anymore.
