What’s your #VillainOriginStory?
I think mine began circa 2007:
I worked at the Apple Store as a teacher and a customer purchased me an item as a gift because they appreciated my classes.
Wait for it:
My boss took their money, then after the customer left they took the item from me and placed it back on the shelf and said, “we are not allowed to receive gifts.”
Yeahhhhhhh, that actually happened.

And LOL I've got so many stories that could qualify for this topic, but let's go with my grad school summer jobs in general, where I basically got to watch the innards of various bits of big-money university academia conduct "business as usual."
