Recently I played #Firmament by #Cyan software. It was an awesome puzzle experience. Now I'm experiencing #Myst and after that #Riven. A shame I didn't played the games when they originally came out ;-). #gaming #gamer

I always love playing Cyan’s games. Beautiful worlds, intricate clockwork gadgetry, and a sense of peace and quiet.

There was one puzzle near the end (though others might encounter it sooner) that I felt was unfairly obtuse, but everything else fell into place with a little logic and backtracking.

It’s a great formula for getting players to slow down and enjoy mediate walk through those lovely environments.

And a fun twist.

Firmament by Cyan Worlds

As a fan of Myst and Obduction, I've been looking forward to playing this since I backed it on Kickstarter in 2019. The environments really look amazing in VR!

I finished @cyanworlds's #Firmament yesterday and I am still crunching on it.

I started #Firmament — released yesterday — of which I was proudly a backer. And holy smokes does ‪@cyanworlds‬ quietly deliver masterclasses in design.

This game (and Obduction) has the most marvellous textures. Everything is beautifully distressed and worn. Lived-in and aged, every bannister and fabric tells a story. And it looks just outstanding in Unreal. I can’t wait to see what they do in UE5.
