I basically just spent the last 90 minutes crying and it was amazing. The Remarkable Life of Ibelin (Netflix) is quite the touching story of an online life reaching out to all kinds of people, via the game World of Warcraft. Highly recommended.

🤿 It‘s breathrobbing, like you!, Tom.🥰

„The training and preparation we put into this film is a culmination of all before it. From the depths, to the skies, I can’t wait to share more with you.“

Much of #scifi is predicated on the assumption that there are ground breaking fundamental physics, yet to be discovered. But what if that's not the case? Have you read or watched any sci-fi that explores a future without magical FTL or dimension hopping or psychic powers? Just incremental refinements of existing science.

"One of the things that drew me to the subject, other than the fact that it's the craziest story that you will ever know, was the fact that everything that I'd seen online had been borderline derogatory about Japanese culture...Nobody dared to dig much further, really, or ask Nasubi how he was feeling about it" - Clair Titley on The Contestant eyeforfilm.co.uk/feature/2024- #film #documentary #cinema #movies

Absolutely bug-nuts that the TOXIC AVENGER remake has yet to land in art houses, grindhouses, or on home video. I am sure there are "reasons" but it's a shame that this movie has disappeared after it's brief festival run.

Seems crazy, with the people involved. Especially with STREET TRASH getting a remake/follow-up.

JESUS MARVEL, just stop doing screenings with random asses and just release the damned flick! I GET it. You've already put a TON of money into this and you'll need it make a billion to break even. That sucks! Really, it does. Next time, maybe don't try to make a film by committee and just try to tell a good story. It's not actually that hard. Just hire good writers. Instead of doing yet EVEN MORE reshoots, just get it out there. 😐
