forrest<p>impressed by new <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/Futurama" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Futurama</span></a>. it's not <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/genius" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>genius</span></a> or anything, but it does a decent job <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/simply" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>simply</span></a> picking up where they left off & carrying the same soul-spirit of original. the <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/nft" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>nft</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/blackmirror" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>blackmirror</span></a>, and <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/nonbinary" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>nonbinary</span></a> jokes are topical + kinda <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/CrInGe" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CrInGe</span></a> but this is no different than the original-run's incessantly topical pop-culture rapid fire. there's even digs at the "network" itself, Hulu; a (transparent) attempt at corporate self-depreciation.</p><p>/coolvoice<br />Toonami gives New <a href="https://mstdn.games/tags/Futurama" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Futurama</span></a> a solid 7 out of 10.</p>
