For the Model X, Rivian and Lucid are intriguing. For the Model 3 Performance, not so much.
I would be more motivated if there was an option with bidirectional charging, so that I could use the EV as a household backup. But today those are mostly empty promises.
Frankly, I want to sign up OTHER people's #tesla shit #swastikars.

You could not give me a Tesla for free, because I would not want a Tesla.
A car, that I do not completely own. That, previously, tried disabling used Tesla's and suing anyone who resold their Tesla (they claimed you don't have the rights to resell). And even putting that aside, requiring a lifetime subscription fee to use the functions and features that come with the car is insane. I want to own my car and everything that comes with it.
There is no value, from my perspective, in ever owning a Tesla.

Was just out for a walk. Spontaneously gave Nazi salutes to four passing Teslas and was unfortunate enough to be stopped and questioned by two similarly passing officers of the law. They asked what I was doing and I said "nazi-saluting Teslas". After some questioning, during which it was clear I had broken no law, they told me to be on my way and said that if they saw me doing it again I'd be arrested as a public nuisance.
Yeah right.
