Beat Scylla in #EO2 finally. This was probably the most RNG boss I've encountered in the series. My party is all-in on elemental chases, so I didn't really have the tools to survive her heavy attacks. I got lucky that she used her leg bind twice to open the fight, which let me win in 3 rounds (and also get the rare drop) 0/10 would not fight again.

The RNG seed persisted between wipes, so I'd have to go get into random encounters between attempts so I wouldn't get the same battle sequence again. Took more than a dozen attempts, and when I did win, it felt like luck rather than planning. I tried respecing my Troubadour for Shelter and Health a few times, but they didn't help. This was my least favourite boss between EO1 and EO2 (so far...)
@scribblemacher I remember beating her in the og DS version, and not enjoying it at all
@COMPU73E if this were the original, I probably would have just played the meta party (RDW/GH) and fully bound her with the DH force--which would also be boring
