You ever get the feeling that you just can’t read fast enough? I’m usually happy to mosey along, but this book I’m reading right now—Weyward, by Emilia Hart—is so interesting I just want to devour it, inhale it, consume aaaaall of it at once.

@nik oh nice! This one is on my ‘read soon’ list. Enjoy :)

@britt I’m taking a break from my reading project this month and instead of checking out the books on my GTR shelf, I decided to check out the Goodreads readers’ choice award winners. This one’s on Kindle Unlimited, which made it easy to start reading straightaway. 😊 Do share your thoughts when you get to it, if you’re so inclined.

@nik I always feel that way, because there’s SO many books I want to read right this second!

@Likewise
I’ve resigned myself to not living long enough to read everything, so I’ve slowed down a lot. Stopping to sniff the proverbial roses, one might say. It’s just this story. Even my last book—The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, by Axie Oh—I couldn’t put it down but it didn’t engender a feeling of urgency like this book; I want to be able to hold it to my forehead and just roll around and marinate in the knowing of the story. 😂

@nik @Likewise I think that’s one of the beauties of being a reader, while you won’t read everything you want to, you’ll also never run out of good reading material. I definitely want to “sniff the roses,” when I read, but I want to “sniff ALOT of roses” !

@nik @bookstodon I've read it. Some content was too sketchy to my taste, at times. Three women's lives to be made "palpable" couldn't be an easy task of course. The witch trial episodes were not that convincing...
