If anyone wonders why no games are added currently, the IGDB revoked access for the Questlog domain without any information. No mail, no notification, nothing.

Only realized because I got so many errors suddenly.

I'm on it. Let's hope the support wasn't completely replaces with AI.

I really have no idea what I could do, if they don't fix this. The same keys work locally, but not with the questlog.app domain…

That's the reason I hate to rely on other services to make something cool. One day they pull the rug out from under my feet and you're helpless.

There is no offical support channel for Twitch, so I have no real chance to resolve this issue now…

Questlog.app

For now, this is the only thing I can do. Inform every user…

I hate this situation so much.

Ok, someone for the API team reached out to me and basically said "This shouldn't have happened". This is much better than "Fuck, why!? Will I ever get access?".

They have no idea yet what happened and why, but it was flagged internally so the rest of the team can look at it (The person I wrote with had to go to bed 😅).

I hope it will be solved soon. I'll keep you updated!

They were able to resolve the issue. 🎉

I have still no idea what the problem was, but I'm really happy now.

I will remove the message on the page soon. But I want to fix a small bug first that was introduced by a recent update of the IGDB API. (The bug is in Questlog not in the API though)

The message is gone and links to stores should be fetched properly again. The IGDB made a few changes here that collided with my custom implementation for this.

Questlog should now work as good as before. 🤞

@questlog best of luck and sorry for the stress. Thank you for creating the questlog.

@questlog Thanks for keeping us updated!

@questlog good luck and fingers crossed!🤞

@questlog I'm one of the volunteer moderators for the site, that's so weird that it happened at all... Really hoping you get things sorted out and fixed with them 🙏

[p.s. i really love that your site ingests some of the events i track, thanks for doing that :) ]

@fror I hope so too. This is really a passion project and some people "rely" on it already. (Just about 500 users, but still)

The addition of the events feature was so awesome for me. I always had problems to track all these events and after the events I always one by one searched the games and added them to my "want to play" list. That's much easier thanks to your work (and the others that do the hard work here)

Thanks for the compliment. 😊

@questlog i'm glad to hear that! i've been helping with it for a while now and had a few projects here and there, you may have noticed (all the E3 press conferences from 2001-2019, all of the game awards [VGA/TGA], and some of the indie smaller ones. the most recent of which was adding/correcting some of the upcoming summer events!

@fror I really love that so many historical events were added. When this feature was added to the API I was glad to get it for new events. But having it go back to the early 2000 is a game changer.

Thanks for all your effort!
