I don’t think I really grasped what it would be like having a feed completely empty of #ads. I really like that it’s just people posting about things that matter to them. I don’t even know if I can remember the last time social media felt like that.

What if… what if Brands started interacting authentically? What if Brands turned modern marketing and profit driven interaction on its head?
I have many thoughts on this… but feel like the Fedi could be a good place for any Brand to give this a try.
@britt yeah! That’s it exactly. I worry that consumers would view authentic interaction through a cynical lens, but I’d love to see it.
Many would tell it has always been like that... somewhere.
My bet is that online #publicity (making a commercial information public on internet) went toxic during the first decade of the 2000's, starting most probably before 2005, when what would be later called Gxxglenomics entered academic programs, thus helping the worst side of digital #advertisemnt to be taught as a receipt of success for the young talents about to set the foundations of current social medias.
