At $130, the 2600/7200 emulator box, which will be available five weeks before Christmas, is being released and priced to take advantage of Christmas demand.

Even if I wanted it, I wouldn't buy it until well after the new year, when its price will undoubtedly be more reasonable.

I feel the same way about the first two seasons of The , being released on 4k Blu-ray at inflated prices on December 12, 2023.

I'll eventually buy both seasons. But not with the Christmas markup.
