handmade ghost

So, I went up the mountain again today, and I found this egret tree, and I wish I could convey the gorgeous unholy sounds that were coming out of it.

Vertical photo of the top 12 feet or so of a Ponderosa pine, framed and etc. such that the shape resembles a Christmas tree. All over the tree, sitting and standing in various poses (necks craning, bodies curled, aigrettes spread, wings fanned) are at least twenty large, slender, white herons like ornaments, or one of those singing trees populated by choristers who just happen to be egrets. The sky that is the backdrop is incredibly blue.
