A month ago I was playing #PlateUp with friends. It's a cute little coop restaurant simulator, where you juggle tasks like cooking meals, serving customers and washing dishes, while designing your restaurant halfway efficiently.
We're no strangers to intense and demanding games, but I think PlateUp might be the only game where one of us had a borderline panic attack and needed to take a break lying down after a game over. If that is not a hardcore game, I don't know what is.
@mezz That sounds a lot like Overcooked. It's also a game about a restaurant, and with 4 players it's so stressfull I can't take more than a couple of rounds of it
@spinning_bird Overcooked is one I've heard brought up alot with PlateUp too, just haven't ever played it myself.
As stressful as these games are, there is something oddly addictive to them. I can't wait to get the gang together again to give it another shot. Although probably with a couple more decompressing breaks and precautions, I don't want anyone to actually suffer a heart attack or something 
@mezz If you can get four people or so together to play something, you're almost guaranteed to have a good time :)
Most Worms games, and Super Bomberman 2 come to mind, too
@spinning_bird The hard part is getting four folks together in the first place, with differing work schedules and timezones to juggle around, not to mention the occasional unpredictable life event getting in the way
