hey #cycling fedi, is there a free software / less likely to be enshittified alternative to Komoot now it's subscription based for route planning & exporting those routes as GPX that can be used on Wahoo/Garmin devices?

I have a few friends use it because I've mentioned that it plays nicely in the #openstreetmap universe and now that there's a subscription, I'd like to be able to recommend something a little more free software friendly!

Meine #MTB Fahrten tracke ich mit einer Smartwatch über GPS. Die gpx Datei exportiere ich von #Gadgetbridge zu #Opentracks.
Durch das #OSMDashboard für open tracks kann ich eine offline Karte anzeigen lassen.Es fehlen leider Höhendaten und Steigungen in der vorhandenen Karte. Vermutlich gibt es Karten des Schwarzwaldes (insbesondere Region Freiburg), die solche Daten dabei haben? #openstreetmap ? Wo finde ich die? Hat mir da vlt jemand eine Quelle? Oder Idee?

As you might know, the area of #BahiaBlanca, #Argentina has suffered dramatic flooding in the past few days, receiving the equivalent of its annual rainfall in just a few hours.

We have started mapping the most critical areas, and we are now publishing projects in #HOT's Tasking Manager, 2025 Argentina Floods campaign, where projects will be posted as needed.

Do you know of the @umap project? It helps users create their own custom maps, and makes it easy to query data from OSM, or add your own.

They recently changed how users can authenticate with the service.

The authentication option now show logos of Github, Bitbucket, an "obsolete" stamp over the old logo of twitter, and, of course, #OpenStreetMap.
